In combination with ancestor spirits, Kuy have confidence in other character spirits such as that with the keep an eye on lizard (takuat) which they imagine for being symbol of fertility. The Kuy carry out ceremonies to propitiate the takuat spirit and request fertility from character. They'd also take the tail with the lizard to use in divination
